Place of Pedagogy

Family

fam-i-ly

noun: family; plural noun: families

1. a group consisting of parents and children living together in a household.

  • a person or people related to one and so to be treated with a special loyalty or intimacy.

To start off, this definition of family above may be correct for some people and for some others it may not. In life we have family, and it is made up of many different kinds of people, whether it be mothers, sisters, fathers, brothers, friends, etc. These people are accepted into a tight knit faction made of values that we have, throughout our lives, learned the importance of and honed. This whole post explores my chosen family: friends, school mates, the closest ones. It may be short, but it is sweet, and the experience was definitely place of pedagogy.
