Chocolate Homage Pin
We were introduced to the skateboarding industry fairly late into our lifetime - the most influential and one of the first few videos we saw was "The Hot Chocolate Tour", which in retrospect is more of a documentary style film. The video followed the Chocolate team during their cross country tour and showed us that skateboarding as a whole was not subject to one style or personality. Quite the opposite, it embraced all cultures and peoples. During this time we were heavily into the Nike SB sneaker culture and it just so happened that a majority of the Chocolate team was sponsored by the early years of Nike's SB initiative.
Let us just say that this brand / team / video is held dear to our hearts here at Rodney. Here is an homage to the influence that is, Chocolate skateboards.
